MS effects everyone differently; not just the people with MS, but also the loved-ones, friends, families and carers for those with MS. The ‘snowflake’ disease that is MS, aptly named as every case of MS is unique symptomatically, neurologically and physiologically, not to mention how this effects the bearer emotionally, mentally and physically.
MS is also, in many cases, a ‘silent’ disease whereby looking at someone, you would no be able to tell they are a bearer of MS or the internal daily struggles they bravely face.
Below are some stories from the contributors of this site, be they bearers of MS or in some way touched by MS. We tell these stories in the hope that it may bring some peace, understanding or familiarity to the reader.
